Be part of A Pawty in the USA! Our volunteers are the heart of this adoption event. Help create a fun, safe, and welcoming experience for adopters while supporting shelter dogs on their journey to finding forever homes.

Volunteer roles

Animal handlers: Support dogs during meet-and-greets and provide care throughout the event.
Adoption counselors: Help guests learn about adoptable pets and guide them through the adoption process.

Welcome team: Greet attendees and provide event information.

Activity hosts: Support games, activities, and guest engagement.
Logistics team: Assist with setup, supplies, and event operations.
Marketing team: Capture moments and share event updates online.

Event schedule

8:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Setup & preparation
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM: Event support shifts
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Cleanup & breakdown
